Day 23- Return

Day 23-HOME

Good morning for the last time from your favorite group the Grumpys!!!
We started the day off at 7:15 to Dallas’ good morning music. Then we packed the bus by groups. After we finished packing the bus, Randy had us all line up in front of the bus to take a picture so he could hang up the picture on his wall. Once the picture was taken, Randy also gave us our last motivational speech inspiring us as we part ways. We loaded up just in time because it started raining in good old Kentucky. Once we were on the road everybody took a nap. By the time we woke up, Grant had taken us all the way to Wally World in Knoxville, Tennessee. Our last Walmart stop of the trip. Sad. The cooks served an awesome last breakfast of cinnamon rolls, Gogurts, and apple juice. After everyone ate we turned up the music and passed around t-shirts, cowboy hats, Kentucky Fried Chicken buckets, and journals to sign. Cheers erupted as we finally crossed back into North Carolina. Soon after, we stopped at a rest area in Marion, NC to use the bathroom so we could hit the road again. Before we knew it, it was time for lunch. We had a delicious lunch of PB and jelly sandwiches, chips, juice boxes, fruit cups, and oatmeal cream pies! After lunch, the van decided it was Taylor Swift karaoke time. On the bus, we spent the time walking the aisles talking to everyone and signing even more things. Dallas made sure to make her way to everyone and take a selfie because #Dallastakesselfies. We stopped at a gas station to finish out our last jobs. Then, we drove to our next stop to say goodbye to everyone. Our final stop of TWB was back at Mallard Creek. We jumped off the buses to greet our family and friends who we have missed so much. We the joined our TWB family for one last singing of two TWB classics before parting ways.
Thank you for following us around America and for your support on the trip of a lifetime. Goodbye from trip 3 2022.

Today is my moment

and now is my story
I'll laugh,
and I'll cry,

and I'll sing.

Today while the blossoms still cling to the vine

I'll taste your strawberries, I'll drink your sweet wine

A million tomorrows shall all pass away

'ere I forget all the joy that is ours, today.

YOUR STAFF LOVES YOU TRIP !!! THANKS FOR A GREAT SUMMER
