We woke up at 6:00 am and got ready to leave in the chilly weather of San Francisco. We got great news that we are the fastest group to get ready in the mornings! We loaded the vehicles and took off to Yosemite National Park. For breakfast we had granola bars and left overs before we made a stop at Wally World! The new cooks bought a traveling lunch, a sit-down dinner, and a traveling breakfast. Gilbert bought a very delicious sandwich and Ryan L. bought a nutritious Lunchable! We kept driving to Yosemite and celebrated Campbell Law’s big 18th birthday! She made a song request of Harry Styles and got his music for an hour. Today was a wonderful day to take naps and catch up on journaling. The drive into Yosemite was absolutely stunning! Many ears were popping as we traveled down into the beautiful Yosemite Valley. Several of us walked through the refreshing river and others went straight to the Village Store to purchase some souvenirs. There was a bunch of wildlife including a non-poisonous water snake, some crawfish, and even a bear! A few found a perfect spot to get some ice cream to cool them off in the hot weather. There were many, many, many pictures taken along the way. We loaded up and headed to Ellery Lake to take a group picture but unfortunately got stuck in a little bit of traffic. We arrived to our camp site around 6:30 pm and the cooks began to get ready for dinner. The delicious meal included pasta with marinara sauce, ground beef, green beans, garlic bread, and cookies! All of us are super stoked for the sweet tea lemonade that the cooks treated us with tonight. Tomorrow is the BEST DAY EVER!!! MAIL DAYYYYY!!!!!
